Q. Do I have to collect the money?
A.No! When you turn in your pledge forms at the Walkathon, the money will be collected through the mail. If Sponsors want to give you money, please mark “Paid Cash” or “Paid Check” below their name and turn in the money they give you with your Pledge Form.
Q. How far do I have to walk?
A. Just about 2 miles. Everyone can do it. put the baby in the stroller and come on! Make it a family outing! You will be asking your family and friends to sponsor you with a single, generous, tax deductible gift for your participation.
Q. What if I can’t be at the site on the day of the walk?
A. Not a problem! Don’t forget that this year you can pick from two locations or you can walk on your own when you can, even before the event! Simply put your Pledge form into an envelope and mail it to the address on the back cover.
Q. What if it rains?
A. you can bring an umbrella and walk! Or just bring us the forms on the day of the walk and make it up on your own time as soon as possible.
Q. How do I ask someone to sponsor me and who will do it?
A. Ask everyone you know. You will be surprised at the number of people who will support you! Lets think about it… How about your co-workers, relatives, teammates, club members, neighbors?
